Setting this as the backdrop to the story let me launch right into it. I had just gotten into Nha Trang, Vietnam and had not yet gotten a massage anywhere in Asia. At the time I had been Asia for just over 5 months mostly working in China and was open to a cheap massage. I had made friends with a German guy at our hostel and we decided to go for some massages. There was a lady at a massage place right outside our hostel on the sidewalk petitioning people to come in.
Something told me that we should look for somewhere else. The first thing you notice when you walk in is that this place is only lit with red light also known as Indication 1. We walk into a little dressing room where we were given towels and instructed to take off all our clothes Ind 2. I kept my underwear on and we walked upstairs where what stood in front of us were a row of what looked like dressing rooms, in other words they were all private Ind 3. My masseuse was a Vietnamese woman who looked to be in her 40s if not older.
I, not having been to Thailand yet, have got no idea what a Thai massage is supposed to feel or look like. She spends the next 20 minutes rubbing out my legs vigorously spending a curious amount of time in the upper thigh region bumping into my package Ind 4. I imagine this is what a girl must feel like during a party that has 50 guys, loads of them coming up to you trying to touch you and you want no part of it.
Clearly the whole goal of the massage for her was to make some extra cash and spend time during the massage on the part that was gonna make the extra cash. She spent the last of the massage rubbing my temples and arms. Clearly there was only one kind of massage they had on that sheet of paper and it was a Boom Boom massage. In closing, there were two things I was thinking during that massage.
Were they two different offers? What did each one mean? Had I said yes, what was going to happen? I'm 25 and a southern california native. I didn't really leave the state for the most part until I was 23 after I decided to quit my job, sell all my belongings and travel the world.
