The community was not much more than a large commercial shrimp fishing town. Rocky Point has since grown incredibly. I love Mexico, feel of sand between my feet, the sunshine dancing off the water, and the sound of the ocean breezes! I invite you to come experience Mexico for yourself!
Beach fishing, sand dunes , ocean proximity, ride quads or sandbuggies. Close to town with a myriad of great entertainment and dining spots. Kayak's paddle by as shrimp boats can be seen in a distance. Or ocassional whales may be seen,along with many dolphin,and even our barking sealions. Great bbq in enclosed courtyard down below with bbq and bar area,two covered palapas also. Then there is the third deck with a palapa,bar ,table,bench ,to view the sea unobstructed,and the beautiful sunsets we have down there,or even sunrises.
Also in courtyard below, a large jar shaped fireplace for evening enjoyment,when cooler. Large desert garden,concludes the courtyard. Upper part of lodge has indoor fireplace,for winter use,large greatroom,tv satellite,music system,ocean views,dining area,with large dining table,kitchen surround bar seats 5,also a bar seating 4,overlooking the 2nd deck and ocean,topping the kitchen area is a large ,reed rib palapa,as well as the bar area,to add to the ambience.
Kitchen has all you should need for your stay,and 2 downstairs kitchens,as,well. Ceilings fans also,and the whole lodge has ceiling fans in every room. Perfect for children. Check-in: PM. Great house, very spacious and only feet away from the beach. Over all great renting experience. We did have some minor issues but nothing that altered our stay.
