This is a brothel, where Chinese ladies are charged 5 BD each, to enter the hotel by the side entrance and then given a voucher for a soft drink to "entertain" guests!
The hotel also charges out rooms by the hour if required!!! It is fantastic if you are a single bloke looking for the company of a Chinese hooker, or a Saudi Arabian man, that has hopped accross the border from Saudi Arabia into Bahrain which is only 20 minutes away!
They all go to this hotel for women and alcohol, neither of which is available in Saudi Arabia. In fact, I met Arabic men from all over the Gulf States, who come here for "fun".
My room was well appointed and I heard NO noise, from the 2nd floor, even though all hell was being let loose, in the 5 or 6 "entertainment" rooms below.
Top recommendation is the Philipino rock band that play most nights. Lovely high ceilings and good friendly Arabic experience. Gulf Air put me in this hotel after overbooking my flight.
